How pickup works
When you donate your RV or motorhome, our specialized logistics team ensures a smooth pickup process tailored to your vehicle's size and condition. For larger models, we utilize RV-transport flatbeds or drive-away services, depending on the vehicle’s location and accessibility. If the RV is parked in a storage lot or RV park, our team will coordinate with the facility for the pickup, ensuring compliance with height restrictions—typical routing must adhere to a maximum clearance of 13'6”. We understand the importance of a hassle-free donation experience and work diligently to accommodate your schedule and logistical needs.
What drives donation value
The value of your donated RV or motorhome is influenced by several key factors. Primarily, the condition of the house systems—such as the roof, slides, plumbing, and air conditioning—holds more weight than the drivetrain. Vehicles that have been well-maintained show significantly better value, while any signs of water damage can lead to substantial devaluation. Recent maintenance records can also enhance the vehicle’s worth. Seasonality plays a role as well; donations made in the spring often command higher prices at auctions, especially for Class A motorhomes that may require appraisal for tax purposes—especially IRS Form 8283 Section B should an appraiser be involved.
